Triumph’s New Range Of Protective Clothing Is Perfect And Packable.

Triumph has launched a new range of protective clothing that can be packed away, within its own pouch then zipped up. The ingenious system means the clothing can be carried easily and quickly unpacked when required.

Two products I am testing are the High-Vis outerwear water-resistant top designed to slip on when conditions require or if you just want a lightweight full cover high-vis top. All will also add rain protection to whatever you have beneath.

The High-vis top has a large pocket with zip when being worn, which then becomes the pouch to pack the top into when you want to stow it. £75

I am also testing the lightweight extreme mid base layer which fits under your main jacket and above your base layer. It looks great and is as it says extremely warm, which has been ideal for the riding I have had to do during January and February. One journey was through -6 temperatures yet my body was kept toasty. It also packs within its own pocket so can be kept in a top box or pannier without taking up lots of room. £100

Stylish and inexpensive I love the items I wore. They did exactly what they say on the packet. The Mid layer kept me warm and fitted comfortably under my jacket.

The High-vis top shone out when in the dark, reflecting any light that hit it. It also kept my main jacket dry and therefore my body dry which ks essemtial when riding in the rain and cold of the winter.

I tested the items during January and February 2021 with some temperatures -6. They performed superbly.
