Hoorah For The Horwin CR 6

Horwin CR6 Naked Electric Motorcycle

.

The Horwin CR6 is an Austrian-designed, Chinese-built naked electric motorcycle equivalent to a 125 cc petrol machine. A stylish Cafe Racer commuter bike is also ideal for nipping about town for leisure, shopping, or getting to and from college.

The quality of the design and build is superb, and although it only produces 8hp, it is enough for the buyers that this bike will appeal to. It won't be bought by new motorcyclists looking to learn on a small machine and then move up to larger capacity bikes; the buyers will want to keep the CR6 for a long time. They will also enjoy the benefits of two-wheel riding without the noise and maintenance of a petrol model.

The Horwin CR6 produces no emissions and is virtually maintenance-free, only needing the brakes and wheels checked regularly. It is simple to charge by plugging into any standard power outlet. The charging cable can be carried in the space where the fuel would go, with a USB point to charge products.

You get about 100 Kms maximum range, which equates to a couple of days average commuting, and charging takes around three hours to 80%. The performance will not set your heart racing with a top speed of 95 Km/H and acceleration to 60 Km/H taking six seconds, but again you will not buy the CR6 to compete against other bikers.

The Horwin CR6 is packed with technology to make your ride safer and enjoyable, including LED technology providing low and high beams to guide you through the dark. Up to 28.000 Candela of light are projected by 6 LED modules through glass lenses onto the road ahead of you to ensure maximum sight under dark conditions. The light shines brighter than ever in a perfectly clean white LED. The result is five times better light efficiency and increased visibility than conventional halogen lamps from traditional mopeds. LED technology minimises energy use, giving you more range and power for riding.

An excellent display of the HORWIN CR6 shows you all the information you need during your journey: topical speed, remaining reach, driving mode, temperature and much more. In the classical Retro design combined with the most modern technology. The background lighting shows you all information in any condition.

The dynamic charging process protects the cells as much as possible to achieve corresponding performance values after many years. Thanks to the revolutionary charging technology, you have enough charge in 20 minutes to cover a distance of 20–30 km. It takes about 3 hours to charge the batteries fully.

So you can be sure that the power source of your motorcycle is always intact and working reliably. HORWIN grants two years warranty on the battery!

To find the perfect balance between range and performance, the HORWIN CR6 constantly checks your driving style and driving behaviour. It's also called the "brain" of electric vehicles; the Field Oriented Control (FOC) will monitor your requested horsepower from the accelerator, transform it into smarter information and relay it – like magic – to the wheel of your vehicle. The result is simply phenomenal – the ultimate driving experience that unfortunately can not be described in words.

The Horwin CR6 has a saddle height of 815mm and weighs only 134kg allowing you to plant your feet firmly on the ground when stopped, and it won't be challenging to move around. The chassis is well-balanced, and you get an excellent steering lock range, allowing tight turning circles. The lightness benefits it when manoeuvring, as does the low centre of gravity, enabling it to turn easily and safely.

The Horwin CR6 costs more than a Honda CB125R, https://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/range/street/cb125r/overview.html

and has stiff competition in the 125 CC market. Other bikes include the Mutt Akita https://muttmotorcycles.com/collections/bikes/products/akita-matt-black-gold-125cc-motorcycle

and the Sinnis GPX 125 https://www.sinnismotorcycles.com/sinnis-gpx-125cc

Despite the opposition from 125 cc petrol bikes, buyers of the Horwin CR6 will be looking to their machines for different things. The attraction of electric motorcycling appeals to new riders and those using machines in urban areas where they don't want to add to the noise and environmental pollution.
