In 2010 Bull-it was established with one goal, to create a product that excels, a product built to ride. Over the years we’ve collaborated with a wide range of rider groups, developing and adapting our products to ensure our position as one of the front runners within the motorcycle industry.
By 2013, we set the benchmark for motorcycle safety. The Veloce, the first CE level 2 motorcycle jean on the market, delivering unparalleled safety. Since then, we’ve gone on to assist organisations like the Fire department, Bike Safe Police teams, Superbike teams, Flat track, Long track, Speedway and Stunt riders to provide high performance protective solutions.
In 2017 Covec developed “Webtech.” The latest development in textile motorcycle protection. A high performance specially knitted synthetic material with impressive abrasive qualities, and low thermal conductivity. Designed for the track, approved by the FIM, and used in selective bull-it products. Giving the rider race level performance for the street. In addition to “Webtech” we developed our first single “Oneskin” denim jean. The Stealth range, ahead of its time, the Stealth range boasted AA performance in a single layer of denim. This development was made 2 years ahead of the new CE standard (17092)
Now in 2019 we are an industry leader in our field, leading the way with both AA rated Tactical and AAA rated Covert motorcycle jeans. We have an unrelenting passion for creating stylish motorcycle jeans to the highest standard. High Performance, Lightweight Design, Zero compromise.
The SR6 range is a high performance protective motorcycle jean, tested to the incoming en17092 standard (currently in draft). Our SR6 range has achieved the AAA rating (120KPH) for abrasion resistance. The SR6 Cargo is a straight cut, relaxed fit, traditional cargo design in a black denim. We have optimised the ride height of the waist to ensure the best coverage, comfort and fit in a riding position. Fashion is insured through the relaxed, straight leg whilst still covering the lower back when riding. A wick away mesh liner is included, as well as hip and knee armour pockets designed to fit Covec’s range of impact protectors. Ideal for hot and cold climates, Covec’s SR6 liner keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. As with all our products, Bull-it jeans have a shower-resistant finish.
Bull-it Jeans’ partner Covec™ Ltd is a company focused on ‘Technical Textiles’. These are textiles made from yarns with engineered solutions. They can be synthetic fibres mixed with natural fibres or engineered synthetic fibres produced to meet performance criteria.
The definition of the category ‘Technical Textiles’ being;
Technical – Having special skill or practical knowledge especially in a mechanical or scientific field.
Textiles – Interestingly from the Latin, from neuter of textilis meaning woven. ‘Textile’ in its modern understanding also includes knitted and can incorporate fibre and yarn within the definition.
The Company boasts a wide range of experience, from professional motor sport to senior management and development in the PPE sector of the construction industry. This provides the focus and practical experience needed to deliver the final product. On a technical level we have our own chemical engineers and work closely with the scientists that manufacture our chosen ‘Super Fibre’.
The company shares a philosophy with the UK government regarding industry and training. We have the technical knowledge in the UK through its existing mills, fibre engineering companies and historic global expertise to deliver the highest level of performance related materials in the world.

I have been wearing the Cargo trousers, jeans and hoodie on several road tests and social rides and all are comfortable, great looking and provide superb protection. You never want to put the protection to the test but when you see the quality of the ‘joint pads’ it is easy to tell they are top notch.
