iHood Provides Warmth In The Coldest Of Conditions.
Jeremy Webb
With the UK now in the grip of winter and the temperatures dropping, we still have to venture outside. Work, school, and shopping all have to be done and, if we can, leisure activities. It is much more pleasant when we can be warm when commuting or doing other activities, so choosing the best clothing is essential. New technology has made it easier for manufacturers to create heated clothing once restricted to the likes of NASA because of huge costs and lack of critical material.
iHood, an American company, is a newcomer to the clothing market, but it has ambitions to become the leading supplier of heated apparel within three years. They manufacture an excellent range of electrically heated products using rechargeable battery technology. The clothing is fab to look at and wear, remaining lightweight, comfortable, and extremely practical.
Founded in 2021, iHood is devoted to producing world-leading,multi-functional outdoor and daily wearing apparel via advanced technology and workmanship. Whether leisure time or outdoor activities(camping, skiing, hunting), working, or driving the cold or hot away daily, iHood can provide you with heated apparel that fits your lifestyle.
iHood Warm products include heated gloves and socks, ideal for motorcyclists riding their bikes throughout the year. The comfort of heat on your hands and feet lets you concentrate on riding and not feel miserable and cold. iHood also makes heated jackets and vests, which are superb to wear under riding jackets.
I tested the iHood Warm, a lightweight vest ideal for layering when riding your motorbike in cold weather. You can also wear it as the top layer when hiking, skiing, or cycling.
In winter, we often wear heavy or layered clothing to keep warm. But this can be restrictive, cause limbs to be less flexible during movement, and may not provide the warmth needed, leading to loss of body heat. Heated vests are a great option because they're great for layering. The fabric is soft and comfortable without excessive friction against the skin. It's also water and windproof and extremely hardwearing. The iHood has three switches controlling eight heating zones to ensure maximum core warmth. The battery-operated heated vest also has an automatic shut-off feature. When removed in suitable temperature settings, it identifies and turns off the battery, maximizing performance and extending battery life.
Retractable Heating Hood
The iHood vest has ear heating to protect your ears from frostbite. You can hide the hood if you do not need it, which is ideal for motorcycling or bike rides. The Water Resistant Fabric
is vital because staying dry and comfortable in unpredictable weather conditions is essential. iHood has developed a fabric that repels water without compromising style or functionality.

How to make this vest work
Independents control three heating areas that generate heat across your body. Independent controls which parts of the vest need higher heat. Adjust each heating area's levels (High, medium, low).
The light-off button helps you to be unobtrusive.
ALL-AREA Heating System
Thanks to its three-zone control system, you can always control which vest parts need more heat; it comes with a 52Wh QC3.0 battery that takes only three seconds to heat up. A maximum temperature of 158°F and 63c makes the iHood the warmest vest on the market.
I have worn the iHood Heated Vest for a month, from the end of October through November. I have used it under my motorbike jacket when I have been testing riding bikes or having to make journies to airports for flights. It can easily fold up and be placed in a top box or pannier when not in use, and it is thin and unobtrusive. The warming heat is a delight when getting on the bike at 2 am with temperatures at 2c, and then throughout the ride, it enables you to focus on riding and not shivering or worrying about being cold. It will increase the safety of your journey when your attention is on the ride, and your extremities are not freezing, so they can function correctly. I recommend the iHood Heated Vest for all forms of activity.
