Spirits from Master of Malt gives you a Merry Christmas.

Master of Malt is a multi-award-winning e-commerce platform set on shortening the distance to amazing sips by delivering the world’s best drinks-buying experience.

Master of Malt is composed of dedicated individuals who try to bring unexpected delight to help people explore and enjoy drinks more. Since the 1980s, they have been whisky evangelists, championing these golden elixirs from every corner of the globe; now, they offer every spirit you could need to create your very own cocktails or (fully stocked bar!) at home.

During the Festive season, Master of Malt sips on every occasion, from delicious advent calendars and table and tree decorations to the perfect gift, no matter the present brief.

I received a selection of bottles to taste and one of Master of Malt’s best-selling Christmas gifts.

The Whisky Advent Calendar. Drinks by the Dram.

Master of Malt offers many whisky advent calendars, including the Premium Edition, which costs £199.95.

An extra special Christmas countdown awaits with the Premium Master of Malt Whisky Advent Calendar, packed with 25 samples of incredible whisky. If you're the sort that finds yourself longing to try the top-shelf bottles when you're at a whisky bar, then make this a December to remember with the 25 30ml wax-sealed samples of premium whisky from some of the top producers that hide behind each door of this exceedingly handsome Advent Calendar. It's a superbly special treat for the festive countdown, including a dram to enjoy on the big day itself – if you're after a special gift for a whisky buff, this will make a fab early Christmas present.

I reviewed the fantastic selection of whiskies within the Advent calendar and was impressed after opening just three doors. The pedigree of the brands included is outstanding, but I won’t divulge them, so whoever opens the Advent Calendar gets the satisfying effect.

I didn’t drink all twenty-four whiskies from the Drink by the Dram Advent Calendar; I wanted to savour the remaining bottles over Christmas and New Year. I also had another reason: I had a few bottles from Master of Malt to review.

Seaweed & Maple & Xmas

The barmy bunch at &Whisky have taken ingredients, mixed them with a whisky and created a special drink.

Nose Raisin-studded fruitcake, syrupy flapjacks, milk chocolate, and damp embers.

Palate Salted Scottish tablet, sherry-soaked raisins, shavings of chocolate, and subtle smoke.

Finish Peppery spice with lingering earthy peat.

Pud - Gingerbread Vodka Liqueur

A splendidly seasonal vodka-based liqueur joins the Pud range, featuring delicious desserts and after-dinner treats. The Gingerbread Vodka Liqueur focuses on gingerbread, so it'll make a perfect treat to sip on while you carefully construct and later demolish a gingerbread house at Christmas.

Christmas 2024 sees Master of Malt giving something back to its customers with many presents on offer. For the festive season, there are free orders, £100 vouchers, tens of thousands of pressies inside packages, and the company is granting Christmas wishes, too!

Master of Malt’s beloved #WhiskySanta Christmas campaign has returned! This heralds “the traditional start of Christmas”, according to one follower on X, while others across social media say #WhiskySanta’s “absolutely amazing”, “magical” “unbelievably generous”, and “an utter legend”, who brings “the most wonderful time of the year”.

Even if you’re fully aware of #WhiskySanta, perhaps take a second to contemplate how mad this would seem if you were hearing it for the first time. A decade ago, someone at MoM Towers came up with an idea. The idea was as simple as it was brilliant. Instead of rinsing everyone senseless in the run-up to Christmas, what about if Master of Malt, erm, give back? It's an inverse Grinch thing.

So began an annual tradition that’s received well over a dozen awards in far fewer years, including pipping Tesco and Iceland to Consumer Initiative of the Year on a particularly memorable night at The Grocer Gold Awards.

The Christmas magic works using a three-pronged plan to make the season more bearable for everyone:

To get on the Nice list, read below;

Place an order on masterofmalt.com and get a free £5-£100 voucher off your next Christmas order, courtesy of #WhiskySanta!

Lucky orders will also receive an extra pressie from #WhiskySanta’s sack. There are tens of thousands of treats to win, including free orders!

What sort of treats, I hear you ask?

From 30ml drams, 50ml miniatures, and full 70cl bottles from big-name whiskies such as Lagavulin, Highland Park, Glenfarclas, and The Glenlivet. Or maybe from new favourites, Fielden Rye, Isle of Harris’ The Hearach, Jenson Button’s Coachbuilt Whisky, and Gordon & MacPhail independent bottlings.

It’s not all whisky either, with Tanqueray, Rémy Martin, and Pipa Rum de Go, to name a few.

#WhiskySanta believes in equal opportunities regarding customers' favourite drinks.

Customers can win Master of Malt Prime memberships (free delivery for a year!), Pour & Sip Whisky Club subscriptions (free tasting sets each month!),

WhiskySanta's granting Christmas wishes left, right, and centre on social media, too! Customers can post on social media to tell #WhiskySanta what they'd like for Christmas.

11,000+ delicious tipples listed on Master of Malt are available

WhiskySanta will grant some of those wishes every day! There are even bonus ‘Super Wish’ bottles to look out for.

Last year, single malts aged over 40 years included Bunnahabhain and Craigellachi. Wish’ buttons can be found below every bottle on the Master of Malt website for simple posting to X or Facebook, while Master of Malt’s 207k Instagram followers can find guidance and inspiration via MoM’s Instagram Stories.
